User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open an SSH tunnel to a server ($ ssh -D <port> <user>@<server.ip>)
- Configure a manual proxy configuration:
a. SOCKS Host: "localhost" Port: <from step 1 above>
b. No proxy for: "remove localhost" - Try to open the following address: "http://localhost:11939"
Actual results:
"Unable to connect: Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at localhost:11939."
Expected results:
The web UI of the applet should load successfully. It loads when using Firefox 66.0.5. This stopped working with all newer versions I've tried. I've recreated it on multiple macOS systems.
