From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020707
BuildID: 20020707Chimera
Every time I install a new build of Chimera I have to reimport my bookmarks.
The proper way to handle bookmarks would be to follow the examples already set
by MSIE, Netscape and Mozilla (Carbon), and create a Navigator or Chimera folder
in the user's Application Support directory in ~/Library/Application Support/
which contains the bookmarks and other relevant preferences, such as default
home page, etc/
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install a Chimera build.
2.Launch and import MSIE bookmarks.
3.Quit Chimera
4.Download newer Chimera build.
5.Install and launch
Actual Results: Previously imported bookmarks are gone.
Previously defined default start page is gone
Expected Results: User prefs and bookmarks would survive an upgrade.
Use the Application Support directory in ~/Library/Application Support/

It seems that today's build does so.
Confirmed that Chimera/20020708 now stores prefs in [~/Library/Application Support].
