Details

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to zoomable site, eg: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1024941
  2. zoom in
  3. use finger to swipe site from left to right or up to down
  4. Without lifting finger, move finger in a slanted motion (eg: "northeast" or "southeast")

What happens:

Viewport does not move, or moves in the same direction as the initial direction

Expected result:

Swiping is freely movable in all directions.

For what it is worth, swiping starting with a circular motion instead of left to right or up to down seems to work -- everything is freely movable.

Reproduced in Fenix and r-b. This does not happen in Chromium.
