Currently after Mozilla killed all non-WebExtensions extensions, there is no option to export only selected bookmarks or folders for sharing it with other users or for testing proposes (like for bug #1562489), like it was possible in past with ExportHTMLFolder extension ( https://legacycollector.org/firefox-addons/383719/index.html ).

First, you can copy paste a folder of bookmarks into a text editor and get a list of urls to share.
A Webextension can also provide a limited view of bookmarks with an export function.
We don't plan to add this feature at this time, because the use-cases are rare.

Awesome! I didn't know this, thank you very much for sharing this information!

Good, I will look forward for old extension update, maybe developer will start updating it, as needed APIs are implanted as you said.
