When the autocomplete has found a match. If I click on main Content window, no focus change happens. Therefore, clicking on main window and typing will overwrite my found recipient. I can only tab out of the auto-completion. This must be wrong.

Ben Clewett, do you still see this symptom? I just tried to reproduce with Moz 1.8a5 and could not.
Mike Cowperthwaite, I now use Thunderbird and not Mozilla Mail. This product does not suffer this problem. Do you think I should mark this bug as FIXED?
I've never seen this symptom in Mozilla MailNews, so => WFM
