User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 SeaMonkey/2.49.4
Steps to reproduce:
Go to:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=752eoGPqAUQ
Actual results:
The page renders black:
On refresh a message sometimes appears in the center:
Your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available.
Click here to visit our frequently asked questions about HTML5 video
Clicking there gives:
https://www.youtube.com/supported_browsers
which says, in contradiction to the above:
You're awesome!
That's right! Your browser is up-to-date, which means you can use
YouTube's latest features. Enjoy!
The first page renders properly with firefox 68.0.
Expected results:
The page
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=752eoGPqAUQ
should render a video.

I can not do a simple test, "Video unavailable - The uploader has not made this video available in your country."
With Proxy and also FF 70.0a1 (2019-07-08) (32-bit) I only see black rectangle instead of preview or even movie.

I have not tried it, but NordVPN (https://nordvpn.com/) claims to allow access from any country. Surely there are other VPNs available.

Before we do further tests with SM:
Does that video work for you on your PC with other Browsers?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=752eoGPqAUQ
works on FireFox 68.0
works on Google Chrome 75.0.3770.100
hangs with circling line for at least 5 minutes with Safari Version
12.1.1 (14607.2.6.1.1)

Here's another case that fails with SeaMonkey but works with FireFox 69.0:

Again, it's the HTML5 error listed above.

Again, it's a private or geo restricted video. Unable to test.

Oh darn. It's a free viewing of The Terminator on youtube, so they probably restricted it geographically.
One solution for you would be to use a VPN - https://nordvpn.com/ gets advertised a bunch but I cannot say if
it is better than others. Using a VPN would allow you to appear to be in the USA where you would be
more likely to be able to see the problem.

The above link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=752eoGPqAUQ is not going to show to anyone any longer, as it is a Private video.
Tested on a clean test profile with a UA of Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0 SeaMonkey/2.53.10.2 and a VPN aimed squarely at the US of A.
Suggest this bug should now be marked as INVALID or whatever.

May as well. Delays to fix SeaMonkey became so long (years) and it failed so often that I'm sorry to say that after more than
10 years of use I gave up and switched to Firefox (which is now crumbling too). So I don't have more examples for you
and you may as well close it and put your efforts elsewhere.

YouTube does that. They make movies public for a while, then make them private for a while, then make them public again for a while, etc. I'm sure it depends on the deals they have with the owners. It's back up now but does require DRM/EME/Widevine support (as all things on YouTube Movies do, unlike user-uploaded videos), which SeaMonkey doesn't have (it's mentioned in the Status Meetings that they have the UI for it but haven't hooked up the code to be able to use Google's plugin). If the reporter still wants to watch the movie, it's available on Fox's Tubi platform without the DRM encryption: https://tubitv.com/movies/455955/minecraft-the-story-of-minecraft.
