In Firefox normal mode, Apple Maps sends monitor to sleep.

Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0
Steps to reproduce:
Viewing any web page that include Apple Maps sends monitor to sleep
Actual results:
When the map starts to load, it gets to the point where text (i.e. place names) are rendered but the text is garbled and then the monitor goes to sleep (message "Attention Entering Sleep mode" then screen goes black).
There seems no way to recover except to switch off the PC and reboot.
Have tried Refreshing Firefox, disabling all Plugins, disabling hardware acceleration; I have no Themes or Extensions; tried new Profile - none make any
difference.
This only happens in normal mode, web pages display normally in Safe Mode.
Expected results:
Apple Maps should display in normal mode as well as Safe Mode
Something corrupted somewhere, possibly not Firefox, but what else is different between normal and Safe modes? Can I somehow debug the rendering of the Apple Map?

Hi 54,
Could you please give me an URL or two so that I may try to reproduce this bug?
Thanks in advance, Flor.
Hi Flor,
Sample URLs:
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=london&t=ffhp&ia=web
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=london+map&t=ffhp&ia=web&iaxm=maps
I appreciate the problem may be not within Firefox, but is there anything different between Firefox normal and safe mode that could pinpoint where the problem lies?
Thanking you.
PS I will not be able to reply now before Friday this week.

Hi 54,
Thanks for the URLs. I tried to reproduce it but wasn't able to. I'm guessing the root of the problem is with your profile since in safe mode you don't have this issue. When you start in Firefox's Safe Mode, all extensions are temporarily disabled, hardware acceleration is turned off and the default theme is used. Which means that some setting that you've set is what's causing the problem. I can leave you the steps to create a fresh profile if you wish to do so, you can find the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager.
Regardless, I have to proceed to close this bug as resolved works for me since it's a profile problem.
I'm available were you to need something. Best regards, Flor.
