Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0
Steps to reproduce:
I opened
https://rct.fandom.com/wiki/Paths#Pathing_Systems
Actual results:
It scrolled to the correct position.
But once I allow/decline cookies, it scrolls to a slightly different position, leaving the anchoring header text ("Pathing Systems") behind the div with the id "globalNavigation"
The same happens when I enter an anchor manually into the URL bar and press enter or when I reload the existing anchor by pressing enter in the URL bar (no page reload)
-> it scrolls too far (or rather: it scrolls correctly if #globalNavigation weren't in the way)
If I reload the page by using the refresh button or pressing F5, then the scroll position is correct.
:emilio I ni you here as well
I think, it might be related.

Sure, thanks!
I think this one is weird, because the page is trying to fix up the scroll position afterwards, or something of that sort... I don't get great scroll positions in Chrome either, so needs a bit more investigation before marking it as confirmed, but I'll make it block the scroll anchoring meta-bug so this is not forgotten.

I think this (or at least the scroll-anchoring regression bits of it) will be fixed by bug 1566783.

This is working consistently for me now, mind confirming?

Pretty sure this is a dupe of bug 1566783.
