OK, absolutely trivial but...
It seems that the icons in the message window (for "Signing/Encryption")
doesn't really have a downright transparent background.
Look at the screenshot to see that the background is veigly speckled,
which seen from a distance, make it look like the key & pen is on a
square with slightly different color than the panel.
Are they perhaps jpeg's? Wouldn't the png format be more suitable?

i think jpeg-compression is not a problem on that size, compression-errors are a
problem on larger images; but it is always a good idea to use PNG for any images
(because it is something of both JPEG and GIF)

The problem is, that most Icons of the Modern-Theme have a background-Color.
At all these Icons must changed to a transparent Background. It needs
a "little" bit time and is "in work".
