From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529
BuildID: 2002052918
This uses the same webpage as 156994, and could be similar as 103975, but I am
not sure.
I am using Java plugin version 1.4.0_01-b03.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Goto above URL
2. Let the applets fully load
3. close the tab and/or window where the Java page is
4. Go back to the above page
Actual Results: The URL of the page displays in the URL field, but the page is
never loaded and Mozilla hangs forever. I have to "killall -9 java_vm" or
mozilla-bin to get rid of it.
Expected Results: If the java_vm is kept loaded it and uses so much RAM (see
Bug 156994), it should at least make use of it when using the same applet again.
It should definitely not hang the browser when going back there.

Using linux nightly 2002122708 with java 1.4.1. Works for me; leaving and
reloading the page seems to work without difficulty.
Peter, can you reproduce this with a current version of mozilla and java?

No, with Mozilla 1.2.1 and Java Plug-in 1.4.1_01-b01 I cannot reproduce it at
the moment.
Marking fixed/WFM.
