Current password generator seems only generate password using only Latin letters & numbers in specific length.
I suppose this is not enough for some people.
See the attachment for KeePass generator.

move the product, sorry for mistake.

Summary: Add more possibility to password generator → Add more character classes to password generator
Whiteboard: [passwords:generation]

Hi,

I would like to add that these days a lot of websites require a special character in passwords as well as upper, lower and numbers. Special characters usually are:

!#@"£$%^&*

Possibly by default Firefox should generate the password using these characters as well.

Alternatively make it easier to amend the password. I tend to add the special characters myself, but have experienced issues with Firefox trying to update the password to the old one, so as precaution I have to copy the new password to clipboard and make sure that in password manager is the right password.

Severity: normal normal → S3 S3
