User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0

Steps to reproduce:

insert a vertical image in a web page (here in pmwiki). This image have the orientation tag set as "8"

openSUSE Leap 15.0, 60.8.0esr (64 bits)

Actual results:

On this page the jpg orientation tag is not used (better IMHO), but if I make a right clic then "display image", the rotation tag is used - this is not consistent. Only in the second case the image is displayed vertically

example:

http://www.dodin.org/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Balades.Test-espagne

Expected results:

either display the image as is (horizontal) in the two cases or vertical (following orientation tag) in the two cases

to compare with previous image: same image, different orientation tag

to test, do for each image "right clic, display image in an other window". The two are not displayed the same when on this bugzilla page they are the same

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

The second image had a difference between thumbnail tag and image tag, corrected in the third image (consistent with tag "1", normal orientation. Same result than image 2.

Can reproduce the symptom on Ubuntu.
Chrome and FF have the same behavior.
