Make "Praparing Files" a barber twisty (the racing progress segment looks like a broken progress bar) During installation, I am annoyed every time i see the partial progress bar jumping back and forth in a seemingly irregular pattern. It just looks like the progress bar is broken. Sugest to change the "Praparing Files" times to a barber pole twisty (//////), and leave the "installing files" as a progress bar (||||| ). That would make it *uch* clearer what is going on.

per bug 133513, I think we should kill the barber pole progress bar forever. I'd suggest using a text label "Preparing files, please wait" instead of a visual element.
Summary: "Preparing File" should show a barber twisty (the sliding bar looks like a broken progress bar) → "Preparing File" should show a barber pole progress bar
Making depend on bug 133513 to see if that has an effect...
