Details

  • fx 68.0.1, 69.0b12
  • new profile
  • add a bookmarklet to the bookmark bar: javascript:undefined
  • restart fx
  • invoke the bookmarklet (click or keyword) on the initial tab
  • it's fine
  • open a new tab
  • invoke the bookmarklet (click or keyword)
  • the page content is cleared (it shouldn't be since the bookmarklet evals to undefined)
  • the tabs is put into a permanent loading state (loading throbber)
  • same thing in a new window (initial tab is ok, new tab has this problem)
Priority: -- → P5

Still happens on 77 and Nightly, very strange.

Severity: normal → S4
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
OS: Windows 7 → All
Hardware: x86_64 → All

I can't reproduce on a 94 Nightly. Am I doing it wrong, or can we close this WFM?

I can't either. The new tab page looks fine and works properly afterward too. What a weird bug.
