Steps to reproduce:

Visited this URL on my android Pixel 2 phone and activated reader mode:
https://depletionmode.com/uefi-boot.html

Actual results:

Initially the text size is fine, but after a few seconds it scales down, no longer spans the width of the screen and is too small to read comfortably (see screenshot).

However the URL "https://conference.hitb.org/hitbsecconf2019ams/materials/D1T1%20-%20Toctou%20Attacks%20Against%20Secure%20Boot%20-%20Trammell%20Hudson%20&%20Peter%20Bosch.pdf" does span the width of the screen.

Expected results:

The text size should not have shrunk.

This sounds like the same issue as bug 1573014.
