http://www.geocities.com/nvbudokai/dojo.htm The geocities ad code causes text in a table to not inherit the text color from the body. Since the background color of the page is black, text in a table is not readable. Based on the testcase, I think this happens at any Geocities page that uses tables and has a black background. 2002 071208 on WinXP.

Confirming this with 2002-07-17-08 branch builds on WIN2K. This might be an Evang bug.

http://www.geocities.com/elisabel.geo/refs/ganakana.html Was looking for a unicode katakana chart. Found this goecities page that pops-up a recommendation to use IE or an old browser. Reason is probably the invisible text in NS6/Mozilla.
I mean. they do have javascript on the page that breaks as well. and the test is for document.all - but specifically recommending antique browsers... sounds like they were getting complaints of invisible text.
