When a local file is entered into the address bar, Mozilla refuses to load it.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter file:///Users/foo/foo.html
2. Press return
3. Watch as sod all happens.
Actual Results: None
Expected Results: The local file should be displayed.
Works fine in IE 5.2 for Mac.

Works fine at W2K (Gecko/20020714)
I also can use Mozilla as File-Browser: C: <return> shows all Files and Directory;
file:///C:/winnt/demo.html shows the selectet HTML-Site.
- OS Problem by MAC ?!

It won't display a directory listin either. However it displays local files and
local directory listings in IE 5.2 and Links (a Unix command-line browser).

RESOLVED/DUPE:
Adrian (or other) please VERIFY if you concur.
Can someone make suggestions on how to improve the description of 140606 so we
can prevent future duplicates?
