RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1551095

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. I set preferences to re-open tabs from last time.
  2. I open a given webpage.
  3. I close the current tab with the given webpage (which loads the default start screen).
  4. I close the browser app (with no open tabs, other than the default page).
  5. I re-open the browser app.

Actual results:

The start screen displays the last webpage (i.e., most recent tab) I viewed (but that I manually, deliberately closed). I would guess that the browser is not detecting that I closed the tab, and thinks it is loading open tabs from the previous session.

Expected results:

The start screen should load the default start screen, not a webpage that I already closed.

Should clarify that I am reporting behavior in the Android browser. I submitted this problem from a Windows browser.
