Used 07-15-08-1.0 branch build Wrong IMAP error displays when subscribing NMS 6.1 shared folders from Browser IMAP URLS From bug 112105 comment #41 David's email: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112105#c41 "We don't want imap urls to work for IMAP shared Folders Subscription from the browser...." If this is correct, then when I put the URLs on the browser for IMAP Shared Folders subscription for NMS 6.1. Actual Results: I got the following IMAP error dialog: "impa is not a registered protocol" Expected Results: The error should either display the right word: "imap" or correct this dialog more properly. Additional Info: I tried the same scenario for NMS 4.15 p7 (parp.mcom.com), it seemed that I can subscribe shared folder from the browser IMAP URLs for the current build.... Is this regression from the Security for the Browser? Or we changed to support IMAP shared folders subscription on the broswer? No matter how, this IMAP error "impa...." is not correct, we should correct this error for NMS 6.1.
karen, this is a browser bug, and should be assigned to mstoltz, not me.
Adding regression and nominating nsbeta1 since I remembered that I didn't see this error when I tested bug 112105 before.....

IMAP URLs that I used for subscribing huang1 account for huang/ReadPrivilege folder: imap://user@host/foldername (e.g. imap://huang@tintin.mcom.com/ReadPrivilege) imap://userid@host/Shared%20Folders/User/userid/shared_fdr_name (e.g. imap://huang@tintin.mcom.com/Shared%20Folders/User/huang/ReadPrivilege)
karen, are you sure you didn't create an impa url, e.g., impa://foo/...? that's the only way I can recreate this error you're talking about.
karen, could you post the html web page you tried this with? Either put it in your publish directory so at least those of us inside the firewall can try it, or attach the html source. Thx!
Yes! This is just a typo! (Sorry about that...) Marking as worksforme
