Steps to reproduce:

Where it worked (gedit) -

  • right click on text space
  • click insert emoji
  • emoji box appears
    On firefox
  • right click on textboxes

Actual results:

Insert emoji option not showing

Expected results:

An insert emoji option and the emoji selection box should have appeared

"In most apps using GTK, you can right-click in a text field and select Insert Emoji to get an emoji chooser. If the app you’re using doesn’t have that option, please file a bug. I already filed one for gedit."

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.
