Details

STR:

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Navigate to about:profiles
  3. Create a new profile
  4. Click "launch profile in new browser" below the newly created profile

What happens:

The new profile's window(s) opens behind the current Firefox.

Expected result:

The new profile's window(s) opens in the foreground.

This works correctly on Windows and Linux.
