When one is in Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Proxies
Many large corporation (HP included) use one proxy for http, ssl, ftp, etc. It
would be nice if CTRL-C and CTRL-V worked to copy and paste a proxy server name
in multiple fields so we don't have to type it in three or four times. Another
solution would be to have a check box that allows the user to "Use one proxy for
all settings" and automatically copies the proxy server into all the fields.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on "Edit" in menu bar
2. Click on "Preferendes"
3. Click on "Advanced"
4. Click on "Proxies"
There you will see the fields for adding proxies.
Actual Results: Not really a bug, just a feature request that would be nice for
corporate use.
fwiw there's a bug asking for an option to set all servers to the same name...as for your bug, i'd imagine that's also filed.
Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V work pretty fine for me in "Proxy settings" dialog. Build ID
2002071504/win2000.
Please upgrade and try again.
