Noticed this on a profile with many open windows; hard or impossible to reproduce this on a brand new profile.

Steps to reproduce:

1. right click on a page
2. immediately begin to hover over context menu items

What happens:

Menu items do not highlight until a second or two or after some movement over the menu.

Expected result:

context menus are immediately sensitive to user input.

Apologies for the cell phone video -- recording this via GNOME screen recorder or Peek makes the menu work correctly, oddly.

Disabled WebRender and it doesn't make a difference. This is another one of those bugs that seem localized to a profile (which I have archived). If you have trouble reproducing, I can share that with you.

Otherwise, happy to perform any additional troubleshooting as required.

I suggest this bug to be reopened, i am experiencing this issue on Kubuntu 21.04 with KDE 5.21.90 Beta and Firefox 88.0.1.

I created a new profile and i believe that it didn't reproduce (although i tried just once before change), but after i changed the titlebar to "Compact" the issue appeared. Again, i might be fantasizing that it didn't reproduce the first time as i only tested once. After i reverted to "Normal" the issue still appears in the test profile.

Also it regularly takes 3 or more clicks with the right mouse button over the back arrow in the address bar to open the context menu with history.

And context menu has a scrolling behavior, something which i hasn't seen till recently.

Since updating to Firefox 89 the context menus now react on hover, only the scrolling issue and the issue that requires multiple clicks on the back button in the address bar to actually open the context menu remain.
