User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/76.0.3809.132 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
- Open jsfiddle (https://jsfiddle.net/bLmkg834/) or the ".html" file from the attachment;
- Type a literal character into the input.
Actual results:
Literal characters were typed into the input.
Expected results:
Literal characters should not be typed into the input.

I can confirm the different behaviour from Chrome with 68 and 71, moving to Core so as that it gets in the right queue. Dupe of bug 1398528?

I think it's a dupelication of bug 1398528.
