From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020714 BuildID: This page uses a lot of CSS, and a background image that does not scroll with the rest of the page. Vertical scrolling in this page is extremely slow, even compared with other native Linux browsers (konqueror, for example) Scrolling this page in IE on Win32 does not exhibit the same problem. The sidebar was not open at the time that these tests were done. I am marking this bug as "minor" because Mozilla does the Right Thing, though slowly. The work-a-round is obviously to be patient. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Visit http://www.dutchbint.org/ 2.Reduce the window's size until a vertical scroll bar is present (though this is normally not needed because the page is a long one) 3.Attempt to scroll the page Actual Results: Scrolling is slow and feels "laggy" Expected Results: Smooth scrolling, as with most other pages on the Net This could form the basis of a good stress test for Mozilla's rendering engine ;)

This is probably due to the 'background-attachment: fixed;' attribute in http://www.dutchbint.org/css/simple.css *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 90198 ***
