I think we can tweak the record button UX a bit:

  1. the tooltip could read "Enable Recording", "Disable Recording"
  • this should be more intutitive for users who want to learn how to record
  • this should be more intuitive for users that want to disable replay than if it read "stop recording"
  1. the button should be red when recording, blue when replaying
  • currently there is some confusion about when we're recording and when we're replaying
  • keeping the breakpoint button in-sync should help here
