[Affected Platforms]:

[Prerequisites]:

  • Have a new Firefox profile,
  • Have no other tab already pinned.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open the browser with the profile from prerequisites.
  2. Open a new tab and navigate to "https://www.youtube.com/"
  3. Change the system's time to 17 min into the future.
  4. Repeat step 2 and 3 again.
  5. Open a new tab and navigate to "https://www.youtube.com/".
  6. Observe the right part of the "Adress Bar".

[Expected results]:

  • The "CFR Recommendation" button is displayed in the right part of the "Address Bar".

[Actual results]:

  • Only the "Page actions", "Save to Pocket" and "Bookmark this page" buttons are displayed.

[Notes]:

  • The issue is also reproducible for the Addon recommendation messages.
  • The issue is not reproducible with the Save Login message.

Sorry for the false alarm. After talking with :andreio on slack he managed to help me trigger the messages. Marking as Invalid.
