Summary :
The Angry Birds Facebook game is not supported for Firefox versions.
I have been able to reproduce this issue on Windows 7/10 x64, Ubuntu and MacOs for the release version 69.0, the beta version 70.0b5 and Nightly one 71.0a1 (2019-09-11).
Steps to reproduce
- Reach www.facebook.com and login with an account.
- Go to : https://apps.facebook.com/angrybirds?fb_source=appcenter&fbs=126&fb_appcenter=1
Actual Result:
A notification message is displayed informing the user that the browser version is currently unsuported.
Expected Result:
The page should open without issue and launch the game.
See the attached file for more information.

Andrei, have you tested if the site works when spoofing the UA string to be Chrome?

Hey Mike,
I have downloaded an extension for Firefox : User-Agent Switcher and when changing to Windows/Chrome it seems that the app is playable.
I am not sure this is the exact thing you wanted me to check; if it's not please let me know.

Firefox 69 (September 3 release date) removed the "Always Activate" Flash option. This might be breaking some Flash game scripts when they try to detect whether Flash is installed. However, I don't think Flash detection is the problem for Firefox here. There is a workaround (using Firefox's enterprise policy files) to restore "Always Activate" for individual websites. I added apps.facebook.com to my "Always Activate" list and I still get Angry Bird's unsupported browser error messages.
Here are instructions for creating a Firefox enterprise policy file to restore "Always Activate" for individual websites:

Thanks Chris, Andrei. I think we probably need to get in touch with Rovio about this. Adam said the site wasn't working for him going back to 54 -- so it doesn't seem like a recent regression.

Cipri, can you test to see if this still reproduces?

I tested the issue and I am not able to reproduce it. After I logged in and accessed the link the game successfully loaded.
Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 79.0a1 (2020-06-01)
Operating System: macOS 10.15.3

OK, let's close. Nice that they fixed it. Thanks Cipri.
I've tried to get in touch with Rovio's developer by email and have yet to hear back about this situation. I'm surprised to see this has been going on for 2yrs. And I'm just being told about a week ago that my browser is not supported. But yet on any other laptop, tablet, phone etc. I'm having absolutely no problem at all.
Something's not right about this situation. How could there have been the same problem 2 yrs ago and again now. What's been going on in between time?!?

I'm also seeing comments saying resolved, fixed if that were the case I wouldn't be having this problem. So evidently this was a problem 2yrs ago and it's back again. Well it needs to be fixed once and for all please

Just for the context. Thanks JME313 to try to reach out the dev.
They do not mention Firefox specifically in their support site.

Also on a fresh profile in nightly. No addons. No blocking feature. etc.
It is working for me.
