Details

The Search feature should collect basic telemetry data:

  • When the user executes a search
  • When the user clicks on a search result

SGTM, these 2 sum up the flow. Second could be dropped, as it can cause a lot of entries when users scroll through the list quickly. But lets land it and count later.

There is currently no good keyboard navigation so, the user needs to click on the match to trigger the navigation.
Just moving selection doesn't have to trigger it.

I filled bug 1581845 to improve the keyboard accessibility.
