12px font size should be 10px
Bug 1577295 fixed contrast, but missed to set the smaller font-size for the monospaced error, making it a bit too big for the small space.

Sorry, i made a judgement call on the 12px font and better readability, i see now the benefits of 10px and the message being displayed on a single line. Patch submitted.

Thanks a lot Chris, I also would not have thought that 12px on our monospaced vs sans font makes such a visual difference!
