User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/71.0

Steps to reproduce:

This week in nightly:

  1. Go to metro-connexion.org
  2. Put the focus on one combo box (eg. Station de départ"
  3. Try opening it or scrolling it via alt-dowwn arrow

Actual results:

Failed.

Expected results:

Should open, scroll, and while choosing the item in it, prevent the page frop refreshing, that is important for accesibility

Tested on the below operating systems and i was able to replicate.
After clicking once on the dropdown menu using the alt+down key it starts to work tho.
I also tested this using other browsers like chrome, edge and opera on windows and i have the same result as in Firefox.

Ubuntu 18.04 64bit
Windows 10 64 bit
MacOs 10.14

FF Release 69.0.1 affected
FF Nightly 71.0a1 affected
FF Beta 70.0b9 affected.

For MacOs it never highlights the field so pressing the keys doesn´t work.

Hi,

(In reply to Pablo from comment #1)

Tested on the below operating systems and i was able to replicate.
After clicking once on the dropdown menu using the alt+down key it starts to work tho.

Could you try:

  1. Clicking on a location next to th combo box
  2. Reaching the combo box via tab
  3. Trying to scroo it via alt-down
The effect can be seen on pages where the contents changes according to the selectd choixe in the combo box.

Regards

Hi Jean

I tried again with the steps you mentioned in Linux and Windows.

  • Cicking on a location next to th combo box

  • Reaching the combo box via TAB key

  • Trying to scroll it via ALT-DOWN > When i hit Alt+down i see the list, and i can select any component pressing the down or up key (leaving ALT key unpressed) > then i press TAB or ENTER key one one of the options in the list to get it selected

  • Or i can close the list, i just press ALT-Down again.

Is it the same as me on your machine?

Regards
Pablo

Hi,

Ok I cannot reproduce myself in a blank profile. I guess I have a problem in my profile. Sorry for the noise then

Regards
