Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020717 This 4.1 MB animated gif skyrocketed my memory usage from 19 MB to 70 MB and counting. Then it dropped down to 40 MB and started climbimg again. CPU usage stayed relatively low. Memory usage continues to climb even though the image is in a fifferent tabe in the background. Closing that tab does not release the memory.
Now the memory usage dropped back. Either the animation had finished executing, or the fact that I submitted this bug in the remaining window helped.
