Mouse over the links/images in the page and watch the layout change. Removing the font-weight:bold fixes this. Have a minmal testcase, going to attach.

adding reduced testcase
Er. Why shouldn't it change? http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/selector.html#dynamic-pseudo-classes suggests to me that if we support changing the font-size (or font-weight) on :hover, that reflowing the document is to be expected...
Doron, bold text is wider than the same non-bold test. The layout change is correct.
Agreed, based on testcase. (I get an error page for the main URL.)

OOps, the testcase does not show the actual issue I was seeing, which I believe is a bug. Try http://www.opitec.com/CGI/IOIAHS_H or the new testcase: http://www.nexgenmedia.net/evang/opitec.com/IOIAHS_H.html Mousing over the image (which is outside the <a>) causes indenting.

The bold has nothing to do with this. Any style that causes an incremental reflow on hover will trigger this problem (eg changing font-size or something like that). The <br clear="all"> seems to not be doing what it should; the lower floater is getting repositioned to be to the right of the upper floater instead of below it...
Summary: font-weight:bold changes layout (works correctly in 0.9.4) → {inc} layout changes on hover (works correctly in 0.9.4)
Note that the <br clear="all"> is only behaving wrong when the image loads come in later and we fill in a placeholder. On reload, the initial display is fine. Could be a problem somewhere near nsBlockFrame::RememberReflowDamage or PropagateReflowDamage, but it could be elsewhere.
