User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0 Waterfox/56.2.14
Steps to reproduce:
I needed to change pdf handling preferences. I went to About:Preferences.
Actual results:
I have to scroll down to reach About:Preferences > General > Applications, but while the main section scrolls, the left sidebar does not.
The visual sheering between a scrolling page, and non-scrolling sidebars, backgrounds, etc. to one or both sides, is one of my migraine triggers. It's even worse than with top bars/headers.
I doubt I'm the only one affected, but don't know the prevalence.
Expected results:
Either (a) no non-scrolling elements, or (b) a top bar (without animation), or (c) a much narrower sidebar (without text at right angles to the sheer), or (d) a wider gap between scrolling and non-scrolling elements, could help.

Hi MarjaE,
Thanks for reporting this. If you have a moment, would you mind posting a screenshot of what your about:preferences looks like so that we can get a sense of your display resolution and default zoom settings when you experience this?
