Sometimes when I get suspicious mail, I like to view the source of it, without
activating it in my preview pane. In outlook express I would right click it, and
choose properties (and from there select message source). I have no way (AFAIK)
to do this.
Currently I have to left click on the mail, to activate it, and then select view
Message Source (or CTRL+U).

Agreed, it's a good security measure.

Click on the middle of the bar in the preview pane to close it, then select the
email and view source.
Also, see the cool mailnews.display.html_sanitizer.allowed_tags preference!

is that bad form?)

So, you want to close and reopen the preview pane each time someone wants to
view the source for a spam mail? Doens't sound very userfriendly...
