User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0
Steps to reproduce:
Download and execute the installer
Actual results:
It runs, I can see the progress bar, it closes.
When I try to run Firefox, a small window opens and closes instantly. (I still managed to take a snapshot).
Expected results:
Firefox should just simply start normally.

For some reason, your system has an obsolete language pack marked as compatible with 70. Did you have Developer Edition installed before?
Which language are you installing? When and from where was the installer downloaded?
You should be able to start in safe mode and remove the language pack, then restart normally.
This should be a dupe of bug 1582187, but that should only happen on update, not on new installation.

Well spotted Francesco (what a swift reactivity)!
I had Firefox Developer en_US before and I was trying to install the fr_FR version. I downloaded the en_US installer and now it's all OK!
I still think this is a bug anyway, but I'm not impacted anymore, so thanks and keep up the good work ;)

Thanks for confirming. Unfortunately this is the result of an edge case, and we are working on a long term solution.
