Steps to reproduce:
Clicked on download buttons on various sites (Example: github, winimage, vmware)
Actual results:
I can't download any files with Firefox.
Expected results:
I should have been able to download files.

hi, thanks for the report, i assume this is the same underlying problem as in bug 1586228 and will mark it as a duplicate.
is your user account somehow under the protection of windows parental controls?

Kind of, I know my account is under parental control, but I haven't seen a popup about it in Windows lately.
