1586998 - Downloads are instantly failed regardless of size or file type

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0

Steps to reproduce:

Attempt to download any file. I have tried to download files from .zip to .jpg and .exe

Actual results:

Nothing will download and the download tab instantly says "download failed". Retrying it will only instantly fail the download repeatedly.

Expected results:

The file should download to the designated folder on my computer.

Note that I have reinstalled Firefox multiple times and had no issue downloading files on Chrome or Edge and I am not connected to any parental controls so it is dissociated to that known bug.

hi, this is in all likelihood the same issue as bug 1586228 which got fixed in firefox 69.0.3.
