Firefox 71.0a1 (2019-10-08)

[Affected platforms]:
MAC OS X 10.14.6

[Steps to reproduce]:
1.Launch Firefox and login using a Firefox Account.
2.Navigate to about:preferences#sync
3.Click on “Change...” button from sync preferences list.

[Expected Results]:
All preferences checkboxes look the same.

[Actual Results]:
Bookmarks checkbox is highlighted. The blue square doesn't disappear when the checkbox is unchecked or the focus is moved to another sync preference.

[Additional Notes]:

• This issue is not reproducible on Windows 10 x64.
• I am attaching a screenshot.

Are you still able to reproduce? I just tested with 71.0a1 (2019-10-16) on macOS 10.14.6 and could not replicate the problem.

I am still able to reproduce this issue on Firefox 71.0a1 (2019-10-16) under MacOS 10.14.6 using 2 different devices: MacBook Pro and iMac.

This behavior is the same on other preferences windows. I've attached a video where you can see it in the search preferences. The highlighted box is for the tab navigation. If you click in a text field, then the navigation resets from the where the cursor is, but if you are clicking selection boxes, the tab navigation does not reset.

Vasilica, I'm not sure the correct component for this but if you could please update that, ths appears unrelated to the Sync preferences changes.

Thanks Janet! Seems that you are right.
Considering that the initial steps are no longer reflecting the actual issue I logged a separate one (Bug 1593211) and I will close this bug as INVALID.
