Please give more detailed instructions. I do not know what you mean when you
say "turn on IME". What is it and how do I turn it on?

Summary: Auto fill is not enabled for Double byte characters → Forms are not enabled for Double byte characters
Although I can't reproduce this (because I don't know how to enable japanese
characters), I realize that this has nothing to do with autofill. What is being
described is the ability to type japanese characters into any form. That sounds
like a general form problem so I'm reassigning to karnaze.

Also updating the summary line.

I tested this in 11-11-17 Win32 and 11-12-18 Linux build.
I can type Japanese characters in this form now, but Submit does not work.
It is the different bug. I mark this as worksforme.
