I agree that this spike does seem related to my patch (Try server push for this test before and after).

After discussing this issue with MattN, we think this test in general needs to be rewritten as it suffers from other issues as well. Given that this only affects the linux1804-64-tsan opt build, I will submit a patch to skip this test for now for that build.
