Details

Normandy is a dependable delivery system with a granular filtering ability (ex: countries, preferences, platforms) etc. It is primarily used for experiments today.

We'd like to add the ability for some Normandy content to respect the update preference instead of the study preference.

If the content is hotfixes or staged rollout - it should respect the update preference - since this content is not a study. This content is treated as part of the product - not as an experiment.
