Using Mozilla 1.1b, I tried to download StuffIt Lite from Aladdin's website, and Mozilla crashed; OS X assured me that the rest of the system was unaffected, but I couldn't see anything on the menus (though I could pull them down; oddly, the desktop underneath them was not redrawn when the menus disappeared). I finally had to reboot. When I tried running Mozilla 1.1b again, I got the lizard, then the spinning-hard disk icon for a couple of minutes. I got nervous -- the hard drive was chugging away -- and killed the process. Moreover, Mozilla 1.0 won't work any more either!

WorksForMe using FizzillaCFM/2002072203. I was able to successfully download
StuffIt Lite.
Bear, you will probably be able to use 1.1b again; just launch it and let it
start up for a few minutes. It's probably cleaning up its' cache and other
profile-related post-crash stuff.
Can you attach the crash report for that crash? (If you don't know what that
means, just ask.)
Also, in the future, I recommend you file bugs using the Bugzilla Helper at
[http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/bug-form.html]. It will ensure you provide
all the information necessary to process your bug.

I've got 1.1b up and running and cannot reproduce the crash. Sorry for the trouble.
