User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0

Steps to reproduce:

Page contents changed

Actual results:

Sometime a QR-like pattern appears on the top-left of the browser window (eOS 5.0 Juno/ubuntu 18.04 bionic)

Expected results:

No strange pattern on top of window

Actually i can sometimes repeated when hovering over a link, could be a side effect from Context Search (is activated and would draw a popup window where the artifact occurs but trigger for doing so is not activated (clicked, highlighted). Usually CS does not react on hovers.

Component: Untriaged → Graphics
Product: Firefox → Core

Stefan, could you copy-paste the content of the graphics section of your about:config page here ? It contains valuable information about your hardware and driver configuration to help identify the issue.

Flags: needinfo?(stefanehaas)

Of course, but what exactly do you mean by "graphics section"? There no matches on "graphic" in about:config (filter list empty).

He meant about:support

Priority: -- → P3
Summary: Pattern in top left of browser window → Pattern in top left of browser window (GL layers + X11)

Pattern area is smaller but wider than the regular ContextSearch popup (happens even on bugzilla pages but cannot capture a static image here)

Severity: normal → S3
