Details
When a file: url which points to a directory is first loaded, the directory's contents are properly displayed.
If a link which is itself a driectory is now clicked, the browser goes into an inifnite loop
showing the spinning "opening directory" icon.
All attempts at loading file: urls which point to directories will now result in the browser
displaying no information.
This behaviour is reproducible on urls which point to local ext2 filesystems
and nfs mounted ext2 filesystems.
Linux version 2.2.9-19mdk (gcc version pgcc-2.91.66 19990314 (egcs-1.1.2 release))
Processor: PentiumPro 200MHz, 128MB
