Details
Ideally we would be able to measure when the user interacts with history that has come from a different device. On the mobile platforms, we store a flag with history that indicates if the visit was remote or not - while that's not perfect, it might be something we can do on desktop, then record a telemetry event when the user interacts with a history item where this flag is set.

Without more context here, I don't see any reason to have this open - ie, who exactly is "we"? why do we want to measure it? What questions do we want to answer? What will we do when we get answers? Let's wait for those questions to have answers before answering this one.
