Steps to reproduce:

OS: ubuntu
firefox version: mozilla firefox snap for ubuntu canonical-002-1.0

Actual results:

sometimes after starting firefox and restoring previous tabs, if I open new tab and try to type from search input then I am unable to type and even tough the focus remains at search bar, yet search bar doesnt receive any input. Problem disappears on multiple times restarting firefox, yet sometime this also is not the case n I have to restart my os.

Expected results:

The search bar should be able to follow keyboard inputs.

Can you confirm exactly which bar you are attempting to type into (e.g. address bar where urls are displayed, search bar sometimes displayed next to it, or the search bar in the middle of the new tab page)?

Does it happen in any of the other bars, or is it just the one?

Sorry for late reply. I tried inputting on both search bar as well as url bar.

I also tried opening multiple new tabs but wasn't able to input in any of those.
