The following folders are displayed but they don't exist in Exchange:

   - Sent
   - Trash

I think these folders are created by Mozilla.  There is a way to "re-map" the
Sent folder's responsibility to a different folder, but this does not appear to
be possible with the Trash folder.

You can specify it for trash as well (bug #24064), although not via a gui but by
adding a line in prefs.js or user.js, not sure which, I got the specific line in
both files. Example:

user_pref("mail.server.server1.trash_folder_name", "Verwijderde items");
