Details
Sheriffs could use a feature where if the trees are closed, e.g. backlog, we could land a predetermined (selectable) number of pushes on a certain tree. Another instance could be letting one push in, to test some other issues, e.g. infrastructure related.
This would minimize failure clutter and spot them sooner.

That might be a Treestatus as frontend and lando as backend combination.
Component: Applications: TreeStatus → Lando
Product: Release Engineering → Conduit
QA Contact: rgarbas
Looks like you're asking for the ability to land patches while the trees are closed.
