Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722
BuildID: 2002072203
Mozilla will not run if the app is place on the root partition (eg
/Applications) the app silently fails. If the app is moved to another
partition it will run properly. So if I move Mozilla.app to /Volumes/HD it runs
properly
My system is formatted with the UNIX filesystem instead of the Mac Filesystem
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install OS X with the unix filesystem
2. Place Mozilla in /Applications
3. double click the app
Actual Results: Mozilla does not run - no errors, just silently fails
Expected Results: App should run
Netscape 6.2 exhibits the same behavior
